Indapamide • Hello Sehat

What medicine is Indapamide?

What is indapamide for?

Indapamide is a drug commonly used to lower high blood pressure. This medication is also used to reduce excess salt and fluid levels in the body (edema) caused by heart problems (congestive heart failure). Decreased blood sugar levels can prevent you from stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems. Reducing the level of salt and excess fluid in the body can reduce the swelling and breathing problems caused by congestive heart failure and can improve your ability to exercise.

Indapamide is a diuretic drug that allows you to produce larger amounts of urine. Removing excess water and salt levels can relax blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily. The easy flow of blood can lower blood pressure and reduce the work of the heart when pumping blood.
