8 Ways to Get Rid of Toxins from the Body (Detoxification)

Every day our bodies are exposed to toxins, both from outside the body and from within the body. From the food we eat, we can get toxins, for example from the waste products of metabolism or the functions that the body performs. For this reason, detoxification is needed to help remove toxins from the body. The body needs to rest briefly to cleanse itself.

Yes, maybe you have often been fasting and without you realizing it, you are actually cleansing your body from toxins while fasting. During the fast, you don’t drink and don’t eat for several hours. That time can be used by the body to cleanse itself and also to take a short break. This is the body’s opportunity to reset its functions and perform recovery and refreshment.

At this point, you should also avoid stress. So you can give your body time to rest mentally and emotionally, not just physically. You can try this method one day a week.

2. Drink more water

Our bodies contain 80% water, so we certainly need water to help the body carry out its functions. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water per day is sufficient to provide water for the body, but you need to increase your water consumption when you detox. However, everyone’s water needs vary depending on gender and body size. A person’s fluid needs will also increase when he does more physical activity.
