BPOM New Normal Guidelines, What are the Contents?

Recently reports in a number of media reports that the Indonesian government is planning ‘new normal‘, namely the return of community activities amid the COVID-19 pandemic. These activities cover many things, including the economy. In the midst of this plan, BPOM issued a guide to undergo ‘new normal‘in the face of COVID-19.
So, what needs to be prepared in carrying out their new daily lives in the midst of this contagious infection outbreak?

The plan to live in peace with COVID-19 has been mentioned for the past few days. Living side by side with infectious diseases means that you have to adapt to new habits in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, the POM (Drug and Food Control) is now issuing guide to undergo ‘new normal‘ in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This guide contains everything from explaining what COVID-19 is, its transmission, to tips on preventing transmission.
1. Prevention of transmission for the general public

Actually, the same as how to prevent transmission of COVID-19 in general, guidelines’new normal‘when using public transportation and at work it is similar to the following.
- Wear a mask when traveling
- Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

Apart from BPOM, the Indonesian Ministry of Health also published Ministerial Decree number HK.01.07 / MENKES / 328/2020. The decree contains Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in the workplace.
The contents are more or less the same as the guidelines published by BPOM. It’s just that the regulations are more complete, including management policies in preventing the transmission of COVID-19.
